COLUMBUS, Ohio — Miami finished tied for 12th this weekend at Ohio State's annual Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, which featured five teams in the top 100 nationally. Sophomore Michael Weber and fifth-year captain Danny Fisher posted the best individual scores for Miami, finishing with three-round scores of nine over par.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Fisher (75-75-72—222) shot his lowest score of the tournament, which was one over par, during the third and final round, where he moved up 16 places individually to tie for 27th out of nearly 100 individuals. Fisher's final round included two birdies and 13 pars.
Weber (72-75-75—222) also tied for 27th overall after shooting a 75, or four over par, in the final round. Weber was the only RedHawk to make at least one birdie in each round.
Matthew Mattioli (74-76-76—226) ended with a three-round score of 13 over par after shooting a 76, or five above par during round three.
Sam West (74-77-77—228) capped off the tournament with a 77, or six over par, in round three. His three-round score is 15 over par.
Brett Podobinski (77-80-75—232) finished out the tournament with a 75, his lowest score among the three days. His three-round score comes to 19 over par.
The RedHawks' team three-round score is 896, which equates to 44 over par and ties them with Maryland.

UP NEXT:
The regular season has concluded for the RedHawks, who will head to Westfield, Ind. for the Mid-American Conference Championship on April 26-28. Tee times for all three rounds will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
