TOLEDO, Ohio— The RedHawks beat Toledo 4-3 in 10 innings Saturday, with
Evan Appelwick driving in the go-ahead run to secure the victory. Miami moves to 17-19 (10-10 MAC) with the victory, while Toledo falls to 19-20 (12-8 MAC) with the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED

- Zach MacDonald then homered on a 1-1 count, his 14th of the season. The home run put three on the board for the RedHawks to give them a 3-2 lead and also put MacDonald in the top 35 in the nation for most home runs hit.
- Toledo tied the ballgame in the bottom of the eighth with a home run by Luke Walton.
- In the top of the tenth, MacDonald walked. Ty Batusich singled down the right field line to send MacDonald to third base. Appelwick then came up with an infield single to pull Miami ahead by one entering to the bottom of the tenth.
- Peyton Olejnik threw three straight strikeouts to hold off Toledo and secure Miami's victory.
