Zaborowski Named MAC Baseball Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio– Miami's Ryland Zaborowski was named the MAC Baseball Player of the Week after hitting three home runs and racking up nine hits during a three-game series against Oakland this past weekend. Zaborowski was also responsible for nine RBIs and two doubles and went 9-for-14 (.643) in the series. He went 4-for-6 in game one, 2-for-4 in game two, 3-for-4 in game three and two of his three home runs came in game one, which Miami won 21-7.

Zaborowski's success led Miami to sweep the Golden Grizzlies, marking their first sweep of the season. He is a Redshirt Junior majoring in Sport Management with a minor in General Business and is from Gilbert, Ariz.

Zaborowski and the RedHawks will return to action on Wednesday, March 6 with a stand-alone game against Wright State in Dayton, Ohio, and again on Friday for a three game homestand against Bowling Green.
