HOW IT HAPPENED:

- 0:37 2nd (UND 2-0) | The Fighting Hawks started the second period with a 4-on-3 advantage, and Jackson Kunz capitalized to give UND a 2-0 lead. Kunz got a piece of a long shot attempt by Jackson Blake from the point and was able to tip it past Logan Neaton. Jayden Perron had the secondary assist on the power-play goal.
- 1:38 3rd (UND 3-0) | Blake extended the North Dakota margin with a goal early in the third period off a backdoor feed from Owen McLaughlin. Kunz added an assist on the play.
- 4:09 3rd (UND 4-0) | Logan Britt broke the game open several minutes later, combining with Kunz on a give-and-go play to stretch the North Dakota lead to 4-0. The sequence started with a series of Fighting Hawks passes in their own end, as the assists were credited to Kunz and Blake.
- 9:32 3rd (UND 5-0) | UND's next goal came after a long pass ahead from Bennett Zmolek to Jake Schmaltz, with Schmaltz laying it off for Dylan James before getting checked into the boards. James' shot made the score 5-0.
- 11:22 3rd (Miami 5-1) | Turansky got Miami on the board, finishing off his own rebound after a perfect pass ahead from Axel Kumlin. Rihards Simanovičs started the play from behind the Miami goal after a defensive zone faceoff win by Thomas Daskas.
- 18:24 3rd (UND 6-1) | North Dakota's Ben Strinden scored a 4-on-4 goal with less than two minutes remaining in the game off of passes from Abram Wiebe and Schmaltz.
