Suder Named MAC Co-Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly basketball awards on Monday. Miami junior guard Peter Suder was named MAC Co-Player of the Week. It is his first MAC honor of the season.
Suder had a historic week for the Red and White. He led all players with a career-high 42 points (17-of-21 from the field) in a 73-60 win over Air Force, the most ever by a Miami player at Millett Hall. This point total is tied for the sixth-highest all-time by a Miami player and the largest amount scored since Wally Szczerbiak scored 43 in 1999. On the week, he averaged 25.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists and 0.5 blocks.
The RedHawks return to action Sunday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. in a home matchup against Bethany.
