RedHawks Wrap Up Regular Season in Madison

MADISON, Wis.-- The RedHawk cross country teams wrapped up the regular season Saturday at the University of Wisconsin, running in the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals. The Miami women ran the 6k "B" race and finished in 28th place while the RedHawk men ran the 8k "B" race and finished in 18th place. Â

The RedHawks will start the postseason in Muncie, Ind. on Saturday, November 2 to run in the MAC Cross Country Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the women, Ava Nuttall was the highest placing RedHawk, coming in 60th place with a time of 21:40.6. Linda Conchetto finished in 147th place with a time of 22:47.9. Cara Razavi (22:57.8) and Ella Daddario (22:58.8) finished right behind Conchetto as they finished in 154th and 156th, respectively. Razavi also finished with a new PR, beating her previous best time by 11.7 seconds. Ella Boate rounded out the top five for the Miami women as she finished in 190th place with a time of 24:08.8.
- For the Miami men, Mhalicki Bronson led the way, taking 27th place with a time of 24:27.5. Chris Perkins finished in 81st place with a time of 25:08.3. Tom Heal (25:15.9) and Petros Sanchez Ropero (25:17.0) came in 96th and 98th, respectively. Patrick Wills finished in 112th place with a time of 25:28.7.
