RedHawks in Fifth after Day One in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, Pa.— The RedHawks are in fifth place out of 16 teams after day one of the RedHawk intercollegiate with a score of four below par (538) as a team. The second round of the tournament was suspended due to the darkness, with play set to resume Tuesday morning. Cameron Pero leads the RedHawks with a score of seven below par, or 132.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Pero is tied for first place, advancing two places from his opening round. He has one hole left to complete in the second round.
- Matthew Mattioli shot a total of nine birdies, ending the day with a score of 130, or three below par. He has two holes remaining in the second round.
- Michael Weber is at even par for a score of 135. He has two holes to complete in the second round.
- Brett Podobinski shot three birdies, totaling a score of 141 or six above par. He has one hole remaining in the second round.
- Morgan Blythe ended the day with a score of 145 or seven above par. He has one hole left to complete.
- Other RedHawks competing include Tyler Anderson (+4), Sam Mortell (+6), Nathan Vonderhaar (+9), Sam West (+12) and Liam Nelson (+12).
