Miami to Host No. 2 North Dakota This Weekend

Miami returns home to begin a four-game homestand this weekend as No. 2/2 North Dakota comes to town. The RedHawks are 7-15-2 (1-12-1 NCHC) after a pair of losses in Duluth last week (6-2, 3-2 [OT]), earning a point in the NCHC standings in the series finale. The Fighting Hawks swept then-No. 4 Denver last weekend in Grand Forks (5-2, 4-2).

This weekend's games are set for Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3, with puck drop at 7:05 p.m. each night. The games will stream on NCHC.tv, with radio coverage airing on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.) Friday and both WKBV and WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio) Saturday. Greg Waddell and Drew Davis will have the call.

The Fighting Hawks lead the all-time series 27-8-4 and are 13-1-1 in the last 15 meetings. UND defeated Miami 6-4 and 5-1 in November in North Dakota.

Miami's PJ Fletcher (11-10-21) and Matthew Barbolini (9-12-21) share the team lead in points, although Barbolini has missed the past three games with an injury. Logan Neaton is 6-10-2 in net and owns a 3.06 GAA and .901 save % in 18 starts but hasn't played since Jan. 13 due to injury. Freshman netminder Bruno Bruveris is 1-5-0 between the pipes this season, with a .877 save percentage and 3.48 GAA.

Senior forward Ryan Sullivan and head coach Chris Bergeron met with the media this week to preview the matchup against the Fighting Hawks.
