HARRIS, Mich.— The RedHawk golf team finished fourth out of 11 teams at the Island Resort Intercollegiate hosted by South Dakota State this Sunday and Monday.
Danny Fisher was Miami's top finisher over three rounds, tying for fourth place individually out of a field of 76 golfers.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fisher (67-67-73–207) shot a one above par during the tournament's final round and finished nine below par over the tournament's three rounds.
- Cameron Pero (74-69-71–214) finished one below par in round three, giving him a score of two below par for the entire tournament. He finished in the top third of all participants.
- Morgan Blythe (70-69-75–214) finished the tournament at two below par. He also finished in the top third of all participants.
- After shooting two above par in round one, Matthew Mattioli (74-71-71–216) shot back to back 71s in rounds two and three to notch a par finish.
- Scott Bitar (77-73-73–223) finished seven above par through three rounds.
- The RedHawks' team score in the final round was 288 and their three-round score was 849. They were just one stroke back from third place.

Miami will head to the Twin Cities on Sept. 10-11 to compete at the University of Minnesota's Gopher Invitational.
