INDEPENDANCE, Minn. — Miami Golf is in seventh place out of 14 teams after two rounds of the Gopher Invitational at Windsong Farm Golf Club. The RedHawks' performance thus far has been highlighted by senior Danny Fisher, who shot three below par in round one and was even with par in round two.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Fisher's two-round score of 139 included nine total birdies. He is tied for fourth place out of 75 total players.
Cameron Pero is tied for 14th after shooting a 72 (one above par) in round one and a 69 (two below par) in round two. Pero had six total birdies.
Morgan Blythe scored 72 (one above par) and a 70 (one below par) in the first two rounds, finishing in the top third of the leaderboard for the day.
Brett Podobinski finished three over par in round one and five above par in round two.
The RedHawks' team score for the first two rounds was 569, or one below par. The leaderboard is tight, with all six teams ahead of the RedHawks leading Miami by six or fewer strokes heading into the final round.
