EAST LANSING, Mich.-- The RedHawk cross country teams ran in their second meet of the season today at Michigan State's Spartan Invitational. The women ran the 6k and finished in third place out of 10 programs with 88 points, while the men ran the 8k and finished in fourth place out of 10 teams with 105 points. Â

The RedHawks will travel to Louisville, Ky. in two weeks to run in the Live in Lou Classic on Saturday, September 30th.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the women, Ava Nuttall was the highest placing RedHawk; she finished in 10th place with a time of 21:25.1. Julia Rushing (22:03.6) and Annie Christie (22:11.1) finished in 21st and 24th place, respectively. Cara Razavi finished in 48th place with a time of 23:16.5, and Lotti Roemer rounded out Miami's top five by finishing in 65th place with a time of 23:37.1.
- For the men, Mhalicki Bronson came in 12th place with a time of 25:01.3. Max Polak (25:17.9) and Ben Bayless (25:22.8) finished in 21st and 24th place. Johnny Sayle (25:36.3) was 33rd and Charles Harders (25:36.8) took 35th place.
