Luu-Brown Joins Women's Basketball Program

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University head women's basketball coach Glenn Box announced the addition of Hennessey Luu-Brown to his program. Luu-Brown will join the RedHawks' roster for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign.
Luu-Brown, a native of Toronto, Ontario, played with the University of New Orleans in the 2022-23 season, averaging 6.9 points per game to go along with two rebounds and two assists per contest. The 5-foot-7 guard started 18 games for the Privateers, including racking up a career-best 27 points (with 20 of those coming before halftime) during a January win over Lamar.
Luu-Brown competed for Salt Lake Community College in 2021-22, earning NJCAA All-Region First-Team recognition. She ranked third on her team in scoring (8.7 ppg) and dished out a team-best 55 assists.
Coach Box: "Hennessey provides us much-needed experience at the guard position – someone who can protect the ball and get us into offense. We are expecting maturity and her being a solid contributor for us."
