
Miami Records 3.22 GPA in Spring

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University student-athletes continued to achieve stellar academic performances in the spring semester.
With the spring semester grades reported, the RedHawks' entire group of student-athletes combined to post a 3.22 grade-point average, marking their 37th-straight semester with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Collectively, 69.4% percent of Miami's student-athletes achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher. Overall, 44 student-athletes registered a perfect 4.0 GPA.
"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes," said Ryan Swallow, Director of Student-Athlete Academic Support Services. "Our student-athletes continue to shine on the field and in the classroom and have completed another successful year. They remain committed to our mission of Graduating Champions."Â
Thirteen of the RedHawks' 16 teams recorded at least a 3.0 GPA in the spring semester, with the synchronized skating team's 3.61 GPA leading the way overall. On the men's side, the golf team was tops with a 3.46 team GPA this spring.
