BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-- The Miami University track and field team competed at the Indiana Invitational this weekend with a number of successful performances.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• On the field, Ben Riegel finished in third place in the shot put event with 16.28m, and Reilly Worthington finished in seventh place with 15.42m.
• Sam Pearl finished in third place in the men's 400m with a time of 48.37. In the men's 200m dash, Leo Bouldin (21.78) and Julian Wagner (22.43) finished in fifth and ninth place, respectively. In the men's 400m hurdles, Jacob Ranker finished in second place with a time of 52.79, and John Wetula was right behind him in 10th place with a time of 56.42. In the men's 4x100 relay, the team of Jayson Harrison, Wagner, Remy Schulz, and Bouldin finished in third place with a time of 42.37 seconds. In the men's 100m dash, Wagner (10.83) and Harrison (10.94) finished in fourth and fifth, respectively.
• In the men's 1500m, Charlie Harders finished in second place with a time of 3:43.98. In the 3000 steeplechase, Dan Conway (9:19.92) and Johnny Sayle (9:28.90) finished in third and fourth place, respectively. In the men's 5000m, Mhalicki Bronson finished in fifth place with a time of 14:07.91, and Jake Bertelsen finished in seventh place with a time of 14:15.04.
• Gianna Labbiento finished in second place in the women's 3000m with a time of 10:23.36, and Hannah Lippincott finished in fifth place with a time of 10:41.16. In the women's 5000m event, Annie Christie (16:25.09) and Ava Nuttall (16:28.23) finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
• Abby Suszek finished in eighth place in the women's 200m dash with a time of 25.27 seconds. Suszek also competed in the 400m event, and she finished in fifth place with a time of 56.60. In the women's 400m hurdles, Gabby Cossio finished in tenth with a time of 1:05.52, and Sydney Harmon took 13th place with a time of 1:07.09. The 4x100 team that consisted of Ella Scally, Camryn Dunn, Chloe Rickson and Alanah Owens finished in first place with a time of 48.06 seconds. In the women's 100m dash, Scally finished in sixth place with a time of 12.41 seconds.
• On the field, Scally (5.41m) and Elle Miller (5.35m) finished in ninth and 10th place in the women's long jump event. Santornya Ralliford finished in 11th place in the shot put with 13.32 meters. In the discus throw, Ralliford finished in sixth place with 47.58m.

The RedHawks host the RedHawk Invitational next weekend with events starting on Friday, April 28 and ending Saturday, April 29.
