OXFORD, Ohio — The Miami University baseball team dropped a Mid-American Conference game against Western Michigan Saturday afternoon, falling 6-0. The RedHawks now stand at 6-21, 3-7 MAC, while WMU holds a record of 6-17, 3-4 MAC.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Broncos scored one run in the first inning to take an early 1-0 lead. They continued finding their rhythm in the third inning, adding three runs to their lead and pulling ahead 4-0.
- Western Michigan added to their lead in the eighth inning after recording a two-run homerun. This was enough to give the Broncos a 6-0 win in the first game of the weekend series.
