10 RedHawks Named to Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND-- On Wednesday afternoon, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) named 10 Miami University Soccer student-athletes to its Academic All-MAC team.

Haley Anspach, Kylee Beinecke, Taylor Hamlett, Camber Hayes, Julia Hoffmann, Makenna Morrison, Caroline Palmer, Madeline Schlecht, Mercedes Schroer and Bronwen Sears of the RedHawks were among the recognized student-athletes.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.

A total of 129 student-athletes among the 12 member schools earned Academic All-MAC recognition.
