Miami continues NCHC play this week with a home series vs. (RV/RV) Colorado College. The RedHawks come in at 4-3-1 (0-2-0 NCHC) after dropping two games in St. Cloud last week by scores of 3-2 and 6-0. Miami is unbeaten at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena (3-0-1) so far this season. The Tigers come to town with a 5-3-0 (0-2-0 NCHC) record and have lost three straight after a pair of defeats against then-No. 2 Denver (6-1 on road, 5-1 at home).
This weekend's games are set for Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 11, with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m. both nights. The games are available on NCHC.tv, with an audio stream airing on MiamiRedHawks.com. Drew Davis (play-by-play) and Luke West Poley (analyst) will have the call Friday, with Greg Waddell (play-by-play) and Davis (analyst) slated for Saturday's broadcast.
Matthew Barbolini leads the RedHawks' offense with 11 points (3-8-11). John Waldron, PJ Fletcher and Raimonds Vitolins share the team lead in goals with Barbolini. 21 different Miami players have at least one point through the first eight games. Goaltender Logan Neaton is 4-2-1 with a 2.53 GAA and a .919 save percentage.
Fletcher and head coach Chris Bergeron met with the media this week to preview the matchup against Colorado College.
