RedHawks Wrap Up Fall Slate at Kapolei Invitational

WAIKIKI, Hawaii — The Miami University golf team finished tied for 13th place out of 19 teams at University of Hawaii's Kapolei Invitational. Danny Fisher and Matthew Mattioli each shot one below par during round three, leading Miami during the final round.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The RedHawks have completed their fall schedule. They will return for the spring on February 19 in Houston, Texas at the Border Olympics.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Michael Weber (72-64-72–208) was the top RedHawk finisher, tying for 25th individually out of 114 golfers. His three-round score included 16 birdies and he was eight strokes below par.
- Danny Fisher's (69-71-71–211) three round score was five below par. He had 13 total birdies and tied for the third-best overall score on par threes, averaging a 2.75 on these holes.
- Morgan Blythe (71-68-73–212) finished the tournament at four under par. He had 16 birdies over three rounds.
- Cameron Pero (70-72-72–214) had a three-round score of two below par. He totaled 11 birdies.
- Mattioli (75-71-71–217) was one above par after three rounds of play. He shot ten birdies overall.
- Brett Podobinski, (71-69-72–212) who competed as an individual, had a three round score of four under par and had thirteen total birdies.
- Miami's team score for the tournament was 842, or 22 below par.
