RedHawks Run in the Great Lakes Regional

MADISON, Wis.-- The RedHawk cross country teams ran in the NCAA Division I Great Lakes Regional at the University of Wisconsin Friday. The women ran in the 6k and finished in 15th place with 479 total points. The men ran in the 10k and finished in 13th place with 400 points. The men finished third among the MAC teams, while the women were the sixth-fastest MAC program.

The Division I Cross Country Championships are set for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 in Charlottesville, Va., with the selection show airing Saturday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the Miami women, Ava Nuttall was the highest placing RedHawk, finishing in 24th place with a time of 21:01.7. Julia Rushing (21:47.1) and Annie Christie (21:58.1) finished in 72nd and 82nd. Jenna Sayle (22:50.9) and Gianna Labbiento (23:22.2) rounded out the top five for Miami, coming in 136th and 172nd.
- For the RedHawk men, Patrick Wills finished in 33rd place with a time of 30:29.9. Mhalicki Bronson finished in 57th place with a time of 31:04.8. Ben Bayless finished in 66th place with a time of 31:14.5. Charles Harders (32:00.6) and Max Polak (32:02.0) took 120th and 124th place, respectively.
