RedHawk Players Finish Top Ten at Cardinal Indy

MUNCIE, Ind. — Four individuals from Miami University's golf team competed at Ball State's Cardinal Indy, two of whom placed in the top ten. Egor Zotov and Brett Podobinski each tied for eighth-place overall with a 36-hole scores of two-above par.

Miami's Fall season will finish out with the Kapolei Invitational in Waikiki, Hawaii, on Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Zotov (69-73--142) had six total birdies over the tournament's two rounds. His first round score of 69 marks the lowest of his season so far.
- Podobinski (71-71--142) shot one above par in each round and had eight total birdies. His second round included carding an eagle on his third hole of the day, a par-4. This is the RedHawks' first eagle on a par four this season.
- Evan DiSanto (75-74--149) shot five over par in round one and four above par in round two. He finished in 17th overall.
- Sam West (76-76--152) was six above par in both rounds. He took 19th overall.
