OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami soccer team beat Ohio 1-0 at Bobby Kramig Field on Thursday night. Miami improves to 6-10-1 (3-6-0 in MAC) and Ohio falls to 4-7-5 (2-4-3 in MAC).Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Miami had two great chances back-to-back in the 27th minute with Makenna Morrison shooting low and Taylor Hamlett hitting the rebound, but both were saved by OU's Celeste Sloma.Â
- Haley Anspach headed in the only goal of the game on a cross from Julia Hoffmann in the 60th minute.Â
NOTES
- Anspach had seven shots, which is a career high.
- Dominique Popa posted an eight-save clean sheet for her fourth of the season.
- Miami had 17 shots to Ohio's 13.Â
