KETTERING, Ohio — Miami Golf finished in sixth place at the Flyer Invitational after making up four strokes during the tournament's third and final round. Danny Fisher and Cameron Pero each shot a 68, which is three under par, during the tournament's final round, helping to boost the RedHawks up several places.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Fisher's (74-69-68–211) round three score included an eagle on hole six (a par-five) as well as four birdies. He finished with a three-round score of four below par and tied for 11th place overall.
Morgan Blythe (72-73-71–216) shot par during round three after making three birdies and twelve pars. He finished at three above par over three rounds and tied for 26th individually.
Matthew Mattioli (72-73-74–219) made three birdies during round three and finished the tournament at six above par. He tied for 39th individually.
Pero (77-75-68–220) made five birdies during round three, including four in a row. His three-round score was seven over par.
Michael Weber (75-73-73–221) shot two above par in round three, making three birdies. His overall score after round three was eight above par.
Egor Zotov (79-72-74–225) and Brett Podobinski (73-77-76–226) competed individually in the tournament. Zotov was three over par in round three and 12 above par overall and Podobinski was five above par in round three and 13 above par overall.
Miami's team score, which improved each round, was 861, or nine above par. Miami tied for the lowest round-three score of all teams in the tournament with a 280.

Miami will send individuals to the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati on Monday, Oct. 23 before heading to Waikiki, Hawaii, to wrap up the team's fall slate on Oct. 31 - Nov. 2.
