OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami soccer team rallied to defeat Toledo 2-1 at Bobby Kramig Field on Sunday afternoon. Miami improves to 5-10-1 (2-6-0 in MAC) and Toledo falls to 7-6-2 (4-3-1 in MAC).Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Toledo scored the opener in the 16th minute on a shot in close from Kaema Amachree after a pass from Grace Turski.Â
- Camber Hayes leveled the score on a rocket from 25 yards out that banked in off the bar after Morhéa Hoefen laid it off to her in the 52nd minute.Â
- Miami found a winner with only two minutes remaining, after Hoefen crossed it into Taylor Hamlett for the deciding goal.
NOTES
- Miami had 22 shots to Toledo's eight.
- Hayes had seven shots, which is a career high.
- The RedHawks had six corners to the Rockets' five.
