RedHawks Finish Regular Season Strong

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The RedHawk cross country teams ran in their second meet of the weekend. The men ran the men's blue 8k and finished in eighth place with a total of 323 points. Several Miami runners also participated in the men's orange 8k as well. The women ran in the women's orange 6k and finished in ninth place with a total of 194 points.

Up next for the RedHawks is the postseason, as Miami will compete in the MAC Championships at Bowling Green on Saturday, October 28th. Â

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- For the men, Charles Harders finished in 42nd place with a time of 24:03.5. Patrick Wills finished right behind him in 46th place with a time of 24:04.4; Wills finished with a new PR, beating the previous one he set two weeks ago by three seconds! Ben Bayless (24:15.1) and Conall McGinness (24:27.1) were the next highest placing RedHawks coming in 57th and 84th place. Mhalicki Bronson rounded out the top five for the RedHawks by coming in 109th place with a time of 24:38.1.
- For the women, Annie Christie was the highest placing RedHawk coming in 13th place with a time of 21:08.1. This is Christie's best time of her career and she beat her previous record by 36.5 seconds! Ava Nuttall finished in 19th place with a time of 21:19.2. Julia Rushing was the next highest placing RedHawk coming in 31st place with a time of 21:38.8. Jenna Sayle (22:39.1) and Gianna Labbiento (22:47.3) rounded out the top five by coming in 97th and 105th place.
Up next for the RedHawks is the postseason, as Miami will compete in the MAC Championships at Bowling Green on Saturday, October 28th. Â
