How it Happened:
- Ohio opened the game a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and had an 8-2 advantage just two minutes into the quarter. A Wolf triple with 20 seconds left in the first cut the deficit, 19-13, but Ohio drilled a triple from the corner as time expired for a 22-13 lead after 10 minutes of play.
- The Bobcats knocked in back-to-back triples and added a layup to begin the second quarter and led 30-13 with eight minutes remaining in the quarter. In the last three minutes of the half, Miami closed on an 8-2 run, highlighted by back-to-back three pointers from Wolf and Cluse to trail 36-27 at the half.
- A triple from Sierra Morrow shrunk the deficit to just six, 38-32, but an 8-2 Bobcat run midway through the third pushed OU's lead back to 46-34. Ohio led 51-39 after three quarters of play.
- Miami scored the first four points of the final stanza to get within single digits, but Ohio scored the next seven for a 15-point advantage. With Miami trailing by six with 10 seconds to play, Wolf drilled a three pointer in the corner as the RedHawks trailed 66-63. After Ohio missed a pair of free throws, Wolf was fouled on a three-point attempt and the sophomore hit nothing but net on all three free throws, sending the game to overtime.
- Scott opened the quarter with a three-point play to give Miami its first lead since scoring on the opening possession of the contest, but Ohio scored the next eight to lead 74-69 with 1:35 to play. Miami would get no closer.
