Miami continues a four-game road swing this weekend with a trip to Omaha. The RedHawks come in at 7-13-2 (2-9-1 NCHC) after dropping a pair of games at then-No. 4 Denver. The Mavericks are 11-9-2 (6-5-1 NCHC) and have won three straight games after a home sweep of Minnesota Duluth last weekend. UNO is receiving votes in both major polls.

Miami is 7-2-1 against Omaha under head coach Chris Bergeron and leads the all-time series 29-21-7. The RedHawks captured three of four meetings from the Mavericks last season, including a win at then-No. 9 Omaha in the NCHC opener.

Matthew Barbolini (9-11-20) leads the RedHawks in both goals and assists this season. John Waldron has eight goals and Joe Cassetti has seven for Miami. Goaltender Ludvig Persson is 7-12-2 this year with a .891 save percentage and 3.58 GAA.

Both games at Baxter Arena will be streamed on NCHC.tv, with puck drop set for 8:07 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 21.

Greg Waddell's radio broadcasts will air on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.) Friday and WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio) Saturday.

Head coach Chris Bergeron spoke with the media this week to preview the matchup against the Mavericks.
