Box Score TOLEDO, Ohio-- The Miami baseball team dropped a 6-4 decision at Toledo Wednesday afternoon. The RedHawks' record slips to 19-26 (14-18 MAC), while the Rockets improve to 26-17 (17-11 MAC).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• In the top of the second in a scoreless game, Brian Zapp led off with a walk. He then stole second base before scoring on an RBI single by Stephen Krause, putting the RedHawks up 1-0.
• In the top of the sixth, Parker Lester and Cole Andrews reached base on a pair of walks before Zach MacDonald belted a three-run homer, giving the RedHawks a 4-1 advantage.
• Toledo responded with four runs in the bottom half of the sixth to take the lead for good, adding an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth.
Miami Game Notes:
• Krause went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
• Aaron Massie threw five innings, giving up three hits and one earned run.
• MacDonald hit his team leading eighth home run.

The RedHawks next travel to Champaign, Ill., for a three-game set against the Fighting Illini. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
