MUNCIE, Ind.—The Miami University women's tennis team came up short in the Mid-American Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Creek, dropping a 4-1 decision to the No. 3 seed University of Toledo.
Freshman
Nishitha Saravanan, who captured MAC Freshman of the Year honors earlier in the week, accounted for the second-seeded RedHawks' (14-11) lone point against the Rockets (18-6) with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles. She also teamed up with freshman
Sara Zalukar to notch a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Saravanan was named to the MAC All-Tournament Team.
