OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University tennis team began this year's season with an inter-squad match over the weekend.
 
"As a coach, I couldn't be prouder of how our team approached this weekend," said head coach Ricardo Rosas. "Even though our players were competing against each other, every point and every set was about making each other better. Iron sharpens iron — and this tournament is going to make us stronger as a team. The three-day event showcased determination, resilience, and growth from all eight players, with competitive matches across both Red and White groups leading into championship and placement rounds on Sunday."

"This weekend was not just about results; it was about competing with intensity, supporting teammates, and building the foundation for our season. I am excited about the growth I have seen and confident that this team will be ready for the season ahead."
