RedHawks Rout Braves, 82-56; Cluse Joins Rare Company

OXFORD, Ohio – The Miami University women's basketball team shot a season-high 54% in an 82-56 win over Bradley University on Friday evening at Millett Hall. Miami (4-5) finished the night 34-for-63 from the floor and 9-of-18 from three.
Miami's hot shooting almost overshadowed Maddi Cluse's historic night. The sophomore became just the second RedHawk in program history to record a triple-double, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Joining Cluse in double figures were Ivy Wolf (21), Sierra Morrow (12) and Peyton Scott (11).

How it Happened:
- Cluse and Wolf combined for 12 points as the RedHawks shot 53% in the first quarter to claim a 21-13 advantage after 10 minutes of play.
- As good as the offense was in the first, it was even better in the second period. Miami shot 65% from the floor and a perfect 6-of-6 from behind the arc as they went to the locker room with a 50-29 halftime lead.
- Miami outscored the Braves 21-18 in the third and 11-9 in the fourth to cruise to a 26 point victory.
Game Notes:
- With a three-pointer midway through the second quarter Peyton Scott surpassed 1,500 career points in her Miami career. She now ranks eighth in school history with 1,504 career points. Scott added four rebounds and is now four shy of 500 for her career.
- To go along with 11 points, Scott added seven assists. She now has 22 assists and just one turnover on the year.
- Miami scored 50 points in the first half. The last time Miami scored at least 50 points in a half was on Feb. 8, 2020 versus Central Michigan.
- Cluse became just the second RedHawk in program history to record a triple double, finishing with 18 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds. Cluse joins Linda Mallender, who recorded her triple-double back on Dec. 14, 1984.
- Miami finished the contest with a season high 27 assists on 34 made baskets.
- The RedHawks out-rebounded the Braves 39-32 and had six blocks to Bradley's one.
