MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Miami University's golf team finished 13th at Marquette University's three-round Marquette Invitational this weekend with a total score of 882 (296-292-294).
Danny Fisher was the top finisher for the RedHawks with a 54-hole score of 218 (71-74-73).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fisher's score of eight above par tied for 39th overall and included six birdies over the course of the tournament's three rounds.
- Cameron Pero (76-72-73--221) and Brett Podobinski (74-72-75--221) each finished tied for 52nd place and played best in the second round, shooting a 72, two over par.
- Jack Ebner (75-74-7--222) finished 12 above par for 54 holes and three above par in the final round, in which he made four birdies.
- Sam West's 54-hole score (83-75-82--240) resulted in a finish of 30 above par.
- The team score of 882 for the RedHawks placed them in 13th place out of 15 teams.

The RedHawks will travel east to New Jersey to participate in the Georgetown Intercollegiate tournament October 10-11 at Liberty National Golf Club.
