
Miami in 5th After Day One of Georgetown Intercollegiate

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Miami University's golf team is in fifth place after the first two rounds of the Georgetown Intercollegiate Invitational. The team's total score for the first two rounds was 9 over par. Jack Ebner and Cameron Pero are both tied for ninth place overall, having shot par through the first 36 holes.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After shooting 76 in the first round, Cameron Pero made seven birdies in the second, placing him at four under par, or 68, for the round.
- Jack Ebner made nine total birdies during the first two rounds, allowing him to shoot scores of 70 and 74.
- Brett Podobinski shot 72 and 76, tying him for 21st overall so far and placing his score at four above par.
- Danny Fisher shot 74 and 75, allowing him to head into the final round five over par.
- The team totaled 31 birdies for the two rounds and two eagles, which were made by Danny Fisher and Scott Bitar on hole 10 during the second round.
