CLARKSVILLE, TENN - The Miami University women's soccer team downed Austin Peay State University 2-0 on Sunday evening at Morgan Bros. Field.

The RedHawks will be away at Cleveland State University at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept 2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â Â
- In the first 45 seconds of the game, Haley Anspach had a chance on-goal but couldn't finish the shot.
- At the 38:42 mark Makenna Morrison scored, making it 1-0 Miami.
- The RedHawks outshoot Austin Peay 11-2 in the first half, eight of the eleven were on-goal.
- At the 77:51 mark, Julia Hoffman put one in the back of the net with an assist by Hailey Matthews.
- Miami finished the contest with 18 shots, 10 of them were on-goal. Overall, the RedHawks outshot APU 18-2.
- The RedHawks had 12 corner kicks versus Austin Peay's one.
- Anspach had three shots with two on-goal, finishing off the night with one of the two goals scored.
