OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University tennis team defeated the Bowling Green Falcons 4-3 on Sunday afternoon in the final match of the season for the RedHawks. The Senior Day ceremony recognized Melati Devi, Janelle Ghanem, Milana Lysova, Makenzie Myers, Lena Babunski and Priyana Kalita for their accomplishments on court and in the classroom.
Miami won the doubles competition through victories from Brindtha Ramasamy/Laura Rico and Melati Devi/Makenzie Myers. In the singles competition, Brindtha Ramasamy, Laura Rico, and Melati Devi won their individual matches to seal the win for the RedHawks.
Miami finishes the season 10-13 overall and 4-9 in the Mid-American Conference. Bowling Green falls to 13-7 overall and 9-5 in conference play.
