Ypsilanti, Mich. -- The Miami University tennis team defeated the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Sunday afternoon by a score of 4-3.

In doubles, the pairings of Melati Devi/Makenzie Myers and Lena Babunski/Milana Lysova won in the second and third flights to clinch the doubles point for Miami. Brindtha Ramasamy, Laura Rico and Makenzie Myers won their singles matches to give Miami the overall 4-3 edge. 

Miami improves to 9-12 on the season and 3-9 in Mid-American Conference play. Eastern Michigan falls to 10-15 overall and 1-11 in the MAC.
