OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University softball team exploded for a 15-2, five-inning rout of the Eastern Kentucky Colonels on Wednesday afternoon at the Miami Softball Complex in Oxford, Ohio.
Adriana Barlow was a perfect 4-for-4 on the afternoon with five RBI while
Allie Cummins went 2-for-2 with a pair of home runs and five RBI. In all, the RedHawks pounded out 13 hits in the five-inning affair. This was also the second time this season Miami has hit at least four home runs in a game.
Miami has now won 11-straight, dating back to March 7. The RedHawks improve to 17-6 overall, while EKU drops to 18-9.

How it Happened:
- It didn't take long for the RedHawks to get on the board as Barlow recorded a grand slam in the bottom of the first to secure the Red and White an early 4-0 lead.
- Barlow then doubled in the second inning to bring Cummins around to score.
- Miami added six more runs in the bottom of the third. Jada Dotson had a three-run homer, Cummins added a two-run blast and Lily Wilmot singled to right field as Miami took a commanding 11-0 lead.
- After EKU scored twice in the fourth, Cummins picked up her second home run of the afternoon, this time a three-run shot in the bottom half of the inning. Wilmot made it 15-2 with a single to right to bring around Barlow.
