WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Ivy Wolf scored a game-high 19 points and Peyton Scott added 18 in a near upset over the Purdue Boilermakers, falling 82-76 on Sunday afternoon. The loss drops Miami to 4-5 overall, while Purdue improves to 8-4 on the season.

Trailing 58-52 to begin the fourth quarter, a Maddi Cluse layup followed by a triple from Wolf closed the gap to within one, but Purdue answered with a 10-2 run as the RedHawks could get no closer.

  • Back-to-back three pointers from Edyn Battle and Katie Davidson midway through the third quarter pulled the Red and White to within 51-49, forcing a Purdue timeout. The Boilermakers scored the game's next seven points to push their advantage to 58-49, but a triple from Scott as the clock expired made it 58-52 with 10 minutes to play.
