Hockey Preview: Western Michigan

Miami continues a four-game homestand and returns to NCHC action this weekend as the Western Michigan Broncos come to Steve "Coach" Cady Arena. WMU is ranked No. 6 in the latest USCHO.com poll and No. 5 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll.

Western Michigan leads the all-time series 73-70-13 and is 11-2-2 in the last 15 meetings. Miami is 41-30-6 vs. WMU in Oxford but looking for its first home win over the Broncos since Feb. 2, 2018. The teams played six times last year, and MU went 2-3-1.
 
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET Friday, Dec. 3 and 5:05 p.m. ET Saturday, Dec. 4. The games will be available on NCHC.tv. Friday's action airs on WKBV 1490 AM (Richmond, Ind.), with Saturday's broadcast available on WMOH 1450 AM The Ticket (Hamilton, Ohio).

Miami enters the weekend at 3-10-1 (1-5-0 NCHC), while WMU comes in at 10-4-0 (3-3-0 NCHC)
