CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Miami University women's basketball team's offense struggled on Sunday afternoon in a 69-52 loss to Loyola Chicago. The loss drops Miami to 2-3 overall while the Ramblers improve to 4-2 on the season.

How it Happened:
- An Ivy Wolf layup with 3:30 left in the first quarter put the RedHawks up 10-8, but Loyola scored the final 12 points of the quarter to lead 20-10.
- Loyola pushed its lead to 15 at 33-18 midway through the second quarter. Miami finished the half on a 12-7 run behind eight points from Edyn Battle, but trailed 40-30 at halftime.
- A triple from Jordan Tuff at the end of the third quarter cut Loyola's lead to 55-41 with 10 minutes to play.
- The Ramblers outscored the RedHawks 14-11 in the final stanza.
Game Notes:
- Katie Davidson had a season-high 14 points, coming off the bench for the RedHawks.
- Edyn Battle had a career-high 10 points.
