OXFORD, Ohio – With an intense first half, the Miami University women's soccer team (6-3-3) lost against University at Buffalo (8-2-1) at Bobby Kramig Field on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
The RedHawks will be at home to play University of Toledo at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In a hard-fought first half, Buffalo got an early goal advantage at the eight-minute mark, making it a 1-0 lead.
- At 28:41, the RedHawks were rewarded a penalty kick. Miami's Kylee Beinecke scored off the advantage tying up the game 1-1.
- Buffalo scored at 38:13, finishing the half 2-1.
- The RedHawks battled but couldn't capitalize on the second half,.
