The RedHawks and Falcons share plenty of history as former conference rivals; both Miami and Bowling Green were part of the CCHA from 1980-2013. Also, MU head coach
Chris Bergeron served as head coach at BGSU from 2010-2019, where he was assisted by current Falcons head coach Ty Eigner.
 Bergeron and senior forward
Michael Regush met with the media this week to preview the series against Bowling Green.
