ON TAP
The Miami University baseball team returns to McKie Field at Hayden Park to host Wright State on Tuesday. Please note the game time has been moved up to 4 p.m.

ABOUT WRIGHT STATE
The Raiders are 2-8 on the season. That record is deceiving as seven of their 10 games this season have been against nationally ranked opponents. One of Wright State's wins was a 10-3 midweek victory over then top-ranked Louisville on Feb. 19. Last weekend the Raiders were swept by 20th-ranked Auburn in a three-game series. Wright State's top hitter so far has been redshirt sophomore infielder Damon Dues. He is hitting .375 with four RBIs and a .469 slugging percentage. The pitcher the Raiders are projected to start on Tuesday is sophomore right hander Sam Wirsing. He is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 4.0 innings pitched (2 appearances, 1 start).

SERIES WITH WRIGHT STATE
Miami holds a 47-41 lead in the all-time series with Wright State. The RedHawks won the only meeting between the two schools last season, 7-6, on April 6, 2019 at the Nuxhall Classic in Cincinnati. Miami jumped to a 6-1 lead after three innings. After the Raiders closed to within one after six innings, the 'Hawks kept them scoreless over the final three frames to secure the win.

UP AHEAD
The RedHawks host Milwaukee for a four-game series this weekend at McKie Field at Hayden Park. First pitch on Friday, March 6 is at 5 p.m. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 7 beginning at 1 p.m. The finale on Sunday, March 8 will start at 1 p.m.
