COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 33 Miami University baseball team kept it even with No. 21 Texas A&M through the first four innings before the Aggies were able to break it open in the middle frames to earn a 9-2 victory. The RedHawks fall to 0-2, while Texas A&M is now 2-0.
Sophomore Tyler Bosma (0-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Miami. Junior Logan Schmitt was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going two shutout innings without allowing a hit, walking none and striking out three.
