
Senior Places Sixth at French Cup

Miami posted a total score of 179.48 in its final competition before nationals.
ROUEN, France – The Miami University senior synchronized skating team finished out its international slate with a sixth-place showing at the French Cup on Saturday.
MU performed its 'Rise Up' themed free skate to the tune of a 115.90 score, notching a 55.18 technical score with a component score of 60.72 and no deductions. For the weekend, Miami posted a total score of 179.48. The Helsinki Rockettes won the competition with a 227.48.
Miami's next competition will be at the US Synchronized Skating National Championships Feb. 28-29 in Providence, R.I.
