ON TAP: Miami welcomes Valparaiso to Millett Hall for a Tuesday tilt. Opening tip is slated for 5:30 p.m. and the contest will be carried live on ESPN3.

LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks fell 88-68 in its season opener at No. 22 Notre Dame. Sophomore Peyton Scott led the way with 18 points, while freshman Katie Davidson added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
 
ABOUT VALPARAISO: Valparaiso comes into Tuesday's action with a 2-1 record. They are led by Grace White, who averages 17.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Valpo has already attempted 77 three pointers this season in three games, averaging 7.7 makes per contest.

SERIES WITH VALPARAISO: The series is tied at 10-10 heading into Tuesday's action. These two teams last competed during the 2018-19 season, a contest Miami won on the road, 68-47 on Dec. 8, 2018.

ROSTER UPDATES: Miami will play this season with just 12 student-athletes. Tajah Foster-Walker, Jordan Tuff and Sydney Watkins will miss the season. 

GREAT SCOTT: Peyton Scott had a banner year for the RedHawks in 2019-20, averaging 12.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game, earning All-MAC Freshman honors. Scott started and played in 30 games last season and has started each of the last 31 contests for the Red and White. The sophomore has already scored 394 points and recorded 147 rebounds in her career.

LOOKING AHEAD: The RedHawks travel to face Ohio State on Dec. 10.
