The Miami University women's basketball team fell 104-65 on Thursday afternoon on the road at Ohio State inside Value City Arena. Miami drops to 1-2 on the year, while Ohio State improves to 4-0.

- Ohio State opened the game on a 7-2 run but a triple by Katie Davidson cut the Buckeyes' lead to 7-5 with 7:29 to play in the first quarter.
- The Buckeyes closed the quarter on a 17-4 run and led 24-9 after 10 minutes of action.
- A Kenzie Schmitz three pointer ended the OSU run, but the Buckeyes had opened up a 32-12 advantage early in the second period.
- Ohio State extend its lead to 47-19, but the RedHawks closed the second quarter on a 7-2 run with five points from Peyton Scott and a bucket from Davidson.
- A 9-1 run by OSU to begin the second half pushed the Buckeyes lead to 61-32. Miami answered with a 7-1 run of their own, capped by a three-pointer from Scott. OSU led 62-39 midway through the third quarter, but the RedHawks could get no closer.
- Peyton Scott led Miami with 22 points. She added six rebounds and three assists, while playing all 40 minutes in the contest.
- Freshman Katie Davidson had a career-high 18 points to go along with five rebounds.
- Abbey Hoff was the third RedHawk to score in double figures, recording 10 points and three rebounds. Hoff also played 40 minutes on Thursday.
- Miami hit a season-high nine three-pointers and were only outrebounded by five (39-34) versus the Big Ten opponent.
- Miami returns to action on Dec. 15 with a trip to Central Michigan.
