BUFFALO, N.Y. -–  The Miami University football team fell to 1-1 on the season following Tuesday night's 42-10 loss to the University at Buffalo.
AJ Mayer threw for 116 yards and one touchdown in the loss, while
Ryan McWood had a game-high 14 tackles.
Miami trailed 14-7 at the half, but the Bulls scored three third quarter touchdowns to take charge with a 35-7 advantage.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half:
- Buffalo opened the scoring with a one-yard touchdown run with 9:20 left in the second quarter to lead 7-0.
- After a Miami turnover, Buffalo completed a 75-yard touchdown pass to extend its lead to 14-0 midway into the second quarter.
- Miami got on the board late in the first half with a 33-yard touchdown pass from AJ Mayer to Jalen Walker, cutting the Bulls lead to 14-7.
Second Half:
- Buffalo received the opening kickoff and drove down the field to extend its lead to 21-7.
- The Bulls added two more third quarter touchdowns to grab a 35-7 lead.
