Miami Hosts Northern Illinois Wednesday

ON TAP: Miami (7-6, 0-1 MAC) hosts Northern Illinois (4-8, 0-1 MAC) to conclude a four-game home stand on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Fans can listen to the game on The Miami Sports Network from Van Wagner, watch on ESPN+ and listen on RedHawk Radio.
LAST TIME OUT: The RedHawks fell in the conference opener against Buffalo on Saturday, losing by an 86-72 margin. Lauren Dickerson broke the program record for career field goals made, bringing her total to 689 field goals. Dickerson led the game with 32 points while Savannah Kluesner recorded her seventh double-double of the season with 14 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Peyton Scott also scored in double figures with 10 points. Dickerson leads Miami's offense this season with 17.2 points per game while Kluesner is averaging 8.8 rebounds per game.

ABOUT NORTHERN ILLINOIS: The Huskies also dropped their conference opener, losing at Ohio by an 87-67 margin. Gabby Nikitinaite led the team with 16 points while Chelby Koker also scored in double figures with 10 points. Ally May led NIU with 10 rebounds. Courtney Woods leads the Huskies' offense this season with 16.3 points per game while May leads on the boards, averaging six per game.

Kluesner led the offense with 17 points as the Miami defense did not allow any Northern Illinois player to score in double figures.
