ABOUT BOWLING GREEN: The Falcons are coming off of a mid-week bye after suffering a 10-point loss to Ohio last Saturday. Against the Bobcats, Caterrion Thompson led the BG offense with a 20-point game and added eight rebounds. Madisen Parker scored in double figures with 15 points. The Falcons have three players averaging double figures this season, led by Thompson with 13.9 points per game and Parker with 13.7 points per game. Angela Perry also averages 13.7 points per game. The Bowling Green offense ranks second in the league, averaging 75.1 points per game, and has the most accurate field-goal percentage (.462) and three-point percentage (.387) in the conference.
SERIES WITH THE FALCONS: Bowling Green has the 50-33 lead in the all-time series against Miami and a 25-14 lead at Bowling Green. The RedHawks have the last five wins of the series, winning by an 82-75 mark in the Stroh Center on Feb. 9, 2019 and a 75-62 margin on Feb. 23, 2019 inside Millett Hall last season. Dickerson led the RedHawks in the home win with 25 points while Kluesner had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds as four Miami players reached double figures. In the 82-75 road matchup, Dickerson dropped 31 points to lead the game. Kluesner totaled 16 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double.
LOOKING AHEAD: The game scheduled for Wednesday against Western Michigan has been postponed until Monday, Feb. 3. The contest will be hosted inside Millett Hall with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. The game begins a three-game homestand next week.
