
Miami Finishes Ninth at Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Miami University golf team shot an even par 284 during the final round at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate and finished the tournament in ninth place at 29-over par. Ohio State won the team title at five-over par while Daniel Wetterich of Ohio State was the top individual finisher at nine-under par.
Sophomore Charlie Nikitas tied for the second-best round of the tournament by shooting a five-under par 66. He ended the weekend tied for 33rd at eight-over par. The top finisher for Miami was redshirt senior Brian Ohr who finished tied for 11th at three-over par after an even par round of 71.
Finishing tied for 37th at nine-over par following a round of 71 was junior Cam Solomon. Freshman Jack Ebner shot a 76 to finish tied for 57th at 13-over par while sophomore Jack Mortell also shot a 76 to finish tied for 62nd at 14-over par.
The RedHawks will be competing in the Mid-American Conference Championships April 26-28 with two rounds being played on Friday followed by single rounds on Saturday and Sunday.
